Lori is the Emergency & Critical Care Manager at Austin Veterinary Emergency & Specialty (AVES), where she oversees the daily operations of the ER and Critical Care teams. She brings over 22 years of experience in the veterinary field, with the last 19 years dedicated to emergency and critical care medicine.

Lori is passionate about building strong, efficient teams that deliver high-quality care in fast-paced environments. She focuses on improving workflow, strengthening communication, and creating systems that support both patient care and team success. She has a strong interest in onboarding, mentorship, and developing team members at all levels.

Her leadership style is hands-on and collaborative. She works closely with technicians, assistants, client care teams, and doctors to ensure patients receive compassionate, timely care while supporting a positive and accountable team culture.

Outside of the hospital, Lori enjoys creative projects, design, and spending time with her Labrador Retrievers.
