About AVES
Austin Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center (AVES) is a multi-disciplinary facility that currently has 24/7 Emergency, Internal Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Soft Tissue and Orthopedic Surgery, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Critical Care, Medical Oncology, Anesthesiology, and Diagnostic Imaging, with the use of ultrasound, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, x-ray, and high-flow oxygen.
We partner with CVCA Cardiac Care for Pets to provide Cardiology services to our hospitalized patients and collaborate with a veterinarian to offer ultrasound services six days a week.
New Location Opening in 2025!
In 2025, we are relocating to a new state-of-the-art facility, expanding from 14,000 sq. ft. to 45,000 sq. ft. This new facility will serve as our inpatient center and will feature an Integrated Oncology Department, with our expansion to include Radiation Oncology and Surgical Oncology.
We are also looking to enhance our services by incorporating Interventional Cardiology and recruiting additional Radiologists. Our original location, less than 3 miles from the new facility, will transition to an Outpatient Facility, where we plan to offer services in Ophthalmology, Dentistry, Dermatology, Rehabilitation, and Acupuncture.
As we transition into our new building and establish separate in-patient and out-patient locations, we will focus on maintaining a strong culture and an inclusive environment while practicing the highest standard of medicine possible.
