DVM, Practice Limited to Surgery

Dory Enright

A native Rhode Islander, Dr. Enright completed her undergraduate education in biology and chemistry at Denison University in Ohio before returning home to New England for veterinary school at the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine.  After graduation, she completed a one-year small animal rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Texas A&M Veterinary Teaching Hospital followed by an additional one-year internship in surgery at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston. She then finished a three-year small animal surgery residency at the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Enright is thrilled to escape the northern winters and return to Texas, especiallysunny Austin! Her professional interests include surgical oncology, reconstructive surgery, and wound management, and she has published research about management of pheochromocytoma adrenal tumors in dogs as well as total ear canal ablation procedures in cats. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking, reading, traveling, and hanging out with her dog, a couch-potato pittie named Runa.
