Dr. Annalis Cigarroa is a board-certified veterinary neurologist originally from Laredo, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame before graduating with honors from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. She pursued her rotating internship at NC State College of Veterinary Medicine and completed her Neurology/Neurosurgery residency at The Animal Medical Center obtaining board certification. Her interests lie in both surgical conditions, particularly tumor removal (spinal and intracranial), and medical conditions, including treatment of refractory epilepsy. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys running, traveling, and live music with her Mini Aussie, Indigo.
